The Queen of the night

My cacti Queen of the night is not a magnificent sight in itself as it growing up along  the window sill.In fact I had in mind to throw it in the dustbin when I saw a flower bud comming out from the trunk.So let me show it to you what happend the next two weeks

The Flower bud was covered with a sort of down-like strands and in the beginning I thought it was a spider's web      
   

    

   

  

Fortunately, I discovered in time what was happening and it was a wonderful sight to see this flower with my own eyes. The scent of vanilla and the size of the flower is just amazing. Just a shame that it's all over next morning. It therefore bears the name rightly .. The Queen Of The Night
